Either one of the products in the ice cream itself are burned, or you have left the ice cream in a freezer that has the temperature too low or you've left it in there too long, causing freezer burn. If none of these are really the problem, I would suggest you eating something else and making sure it's not just the aftertaste of something you ate before. If you're concerned or you're not feeling well or the ice cream is not tasting well at all, there should be a company number on the container for the ice cream, call the number and explain and ask for a refund.
