What does the blue plastic under the plastic soda bottle cap do anyway?
Answers:
It's a seal to ensure that the bottle has not been tampered with. If the seal is broken, it's recommended you not consume the liquid in the bottle because you don't know if someone has contaminated it. It's for safety & health issues.
It's a sealer to keep in the carbonation
I'm pretty sure it just seals in the pressure so it doesn't lose the fizz. Often times they also have "Check under the cap for your chance at winning _______".
probably something to do with the soda not touching the plastic
Maybe that's what keeps it sealed until the seal is broken? or maybe it keeps your drink fresh for when you first open it?
I don't know, but that's a really good question, i never would've thought of that !!!
it seals the fizzy stuff up
maybe its a triggering system for a bomb!
It is their to help seal the bottle. I think the reasoning of its blue tint is it is easier to tell if it is damaged.
seals the deal on your soda enjoyment. makes the carbonation last.
