Are pop corns fattenning ???????!

Question:

Are pop corns fattenning ???????

Answers:
Yep. Butter... full of them. Butter = fat.

The butter is is fattening. The popcorn is all air.

No--really low calories once popped.

If you use an air popper and odn't put butter on the popcorn it is O fat O everything. THe problem comes from the butter and salt. In moderaton it is still OK

The popcorn itself isn't but the oil used to pop it and the stuff that you put on it is.

Popcorn from a hot-air popper is very low calorie, until you drown it with butter!
Spray it with butter spray (like PAM) for flavor & salt it.
Popped with oil is HIGH in calories, and buttered is bad too.

Try the mini microwave bags--get Pop Secret low-fat butter, which is 100 calories per bag. I eat it EVERY day!!

Not unless you put butter and stuff on them. Plain, they're excellent diet food (as indicated in many old-style American teenage movies)!

not if you put them in a blender and drink them? why is this in the drink section??

It is not nutritious, which means no energy, which means your body is expending energy to consume something that is not returning it, which leaves your body with less energy than before you ate it, which in the long run could cause you to get fat.

that depends on if you like butter and salt on your popcorn. If you do, then yes it is fattenning. If you don't, popcorn is healthy for you.

The pop corn itself isn't. Anything you put on it (butter, cheese, etc) is.

Oil-popped popcorn can be extremely fattening, especially what you'd get at the movies or sports venues - typically it's coconut or palm oil used. (It looks pretty gross when you scoop it out.) Olive or flaxseed oils are better and healthier choices. Microwave popcorn has its pros and cons, there are less caloric varieties out there (such as Orville Redenbacher's SmartPop!) Butter and salt may contribute to the fat factor. I heard air popped is one of the best alternatives? Also, since it is a grain that you are eating, it's very filling. Popcorn, like most any other food consumed in excess, may lead to extra pounds (as what happened with me in college).

buttter is the only fattening part of pop corn without it pop corn isn't fattening

Popcorn is not fattening unless you add fat (like butter).

well to tell you the truth it is all really fattning but some popcorns are really not... they are brain food.. it depends on what kind of popcorn you get... for example if you get chesse idk if they have chesse but if you get it then your probably going to kind of get fat.... but if you dont get chesse or the gresssseeeeee then your OK!! TRUST ME im on a diet and i dont like eating popcorn becasue i get fat from all the salt, oil, and other things in it. :) good luck..

no not the pop corn . what is put on it is.

No,because corn is healthier for you..it's just popped with air. The butter flavoring/toping & salt is fattening part though. Just cut back on the butter & salt & you'll be fine. Good Luck-
