How do you get poop stains out of a lemon?!

Question:

How do you get poop stains out of a lemon?

in july

Answers:
POOP STAINS??? POOP STAINS??? There are NO POOP STAINS in a lemon!!! EEEEWWWW!!!

The more important question is, how did the "poop stains" get INTO the lemon in the first place???

Now, I'll go out on a limb here and assume there might have been a typo on your question... perhaps you meant "how does one get poop stains out WITH a lemon"?

In which case, I wouldn't use a lemon to remove "poop stains" at all; it's highly acidic and can have a damaging effect depending upon what you're trying to remove the stains from. If it's fabric, upholstery, carpet-- something like that-- I'd go with a spectacularly easy product called Simple Solution, also sold under several different brand names. This is a lovely-smelling clear liquid enyzme treatment that works organically to break down the "poop" in question at the molecular level; now, it can take time to accomplish this feat but the chances of damage to the carpet or fabric are virtually non-existent. It's available at Walmart and pet supply stores everywhere in various sizes. Sadly, with 3 dogs, we use the one gallon economy size bottles at our house! It's not terribly expensive and far more affordable than new carpet.

Best of luck to you; hope everything, um, comes out ok...
