Does anyone have a non-alcoholic sidecar recipe?!

Question:

Does anyone have a non-alcoholic sidecar recipe?

Or any other gold "mocktail"? I'm having a dinner party and not everyone is of age, so I need a non-alcoholic version of a sidecar. Even if you don't know the recipe, if you know what I can sub in place of the alcohol for a similar or harmonious flavor, that would be GREAT. Here's the sidecar recipe:

1.5 cups triple sec
1.5 cups brand
0.5 cups fresh lemon juice w/ ice
Shake, strain, and pour into martini glass (sugared rim optional).

Thanks so much!

Hmm that recipe is very different from any I've ever seen for a sidecar (one of my favorite drinks).

I think... finding a substitute for brandy/cognac is gonna be tough. Pina colada's make excellent virgin drinks, especially if you serve it in a coconut. Kids love it... blended daquaris also make nice mocktails.

I think if you stick to white spirits you'll have better luck.

A traditional sidecar is equal parts brandy, cointreau, and lemon juice. More often it is ordered with cognac instead of brandy, because a decent cognac is much cheaper and readily availible than a decent brandy.

I, and many, prefer dryer sidecars with ratios ranging from (my favorite) 4:2:1 to 8:2:1.

2:2:1 of sparkling apple cider, peach nectar, lemon juice in a cocktail glass is a nice golden drink.

8:8:1 of orange juice, sprite/7up, grenidine on ice in a highball glass is another good one.

My favorite that I made up (at least to the best of my knowledge) is open a bottle of ginger ale and add 2 vanilla bean pods that have already had their guts scrapped out. Let this sit for a week or so until completely flat. Remove the beans, pour into a seltzer bottle and serve in a flute or garnish with a cherry and serve in a highball glass over ice.

I am not sure how much trouble you want to put into making this bit I would suggest a Rail Splitter with a modification.
Rail Splitter
2 tsp Simple Syrup
2 oz Lemon Juice
5 oz Ginger Ale
I would do one of two things: I would add orange rinds to the water I boiled for my Simple Syrup and same the flesh for garnish or I would add orage extract to the water for the Simple Syrup. This will give you basically a non-alcoholic triple sec.
