I haven't had soda for 4 years...?!

Question:

I haven't had soda for 4 years...?

Whats up with that?
Soda isn't technically good for you anyways right?

Answers:
diet soda isn't that bad for you if you give that a try, but good for you for not drinking it in seven years, cuz regular soda is really bad for you

soda is HORRIBLE for your body.

Uh if you drink excessive amounts it's not good. Too much sugar. But all in all it's not a healthy drink. But it tastes good.

Right, its not good for your teeth or stomach.

you're stong-willed, I couldn't got that long w/out soda if I had to...:)

mmm... nothing like a cold ice Coke..!

In Canada, we call it "Pop". Short for Soda-Pop.. American seems to laugh at us for that, but if you say soda up here, they have no idea what your talking about... lol

Good for you I kicked that habit many years ago too! Keep up and remain healthy. I don't even crave them any more.

With the calories in two sodas you would basically have to skip a meal or work out rather strenuously to burn it all off. It is the corn syrup that is bad. This is also found in many (not all) energy drinks.

KC

right, its not great for your body. but its not gonna kill you if you have it every once and a while. if you like it, have it a little. don't become addicted though, cuz thats wicked unhealthy.

RIGHT. I DRINK ONLY WATER. BUT YOU CAN HAVE A SODA EVERY ONCE AND A WHILE

what ir wrong with you

that is amazing... i prolly average a soda a day. and no regular soda is not good for you but it is false that diet soda is good for you either... it is better for you becasue of the lack of sugar but they have found somehting in diet soda that can casue cancer if it is being drunk in excessive amounts

i was watching this show mythbusters and they put a tooth and a steak in soda and waited a while. when they came back to look at it the steak was pretty much cooked or tender in the soda and the tooth was gone! so i dont think its that good
