Is Vitamin Water healthy or unhealthy?!

Question:

Is Vitamin Water healthy or unhealthy?

It seems like Powerade or Gatorade to me, in which I heard that Gatorade & Powerade can cause tooth decay if drunken too much & cancer.

Answers:
My daughter is totally addicted to vitamin water. Her doctor says it's good stuff. It does NOT replace a healthy diet, though.

Vitamin Water, like Gatorade, has a LOT of sugar. That can cause tooth decay as well as added pounds.

Gatorade does not cause cancer.

I think that is just an urban myth

I think it is good for you. Steam distilled water is the best in my opinion.

healthy

That whole cancer thing is hooey. So many things supposedly cause cancer today, you find yourself asking, "What doesn't cause cancer these days?" Vitamin water, though, still has sugar, even though it's water, and in fact, you're probably better off buying diet soda, because it has less sugar. So, technically, vitamin water ISN'T all that healthy.

I LOVE Vitamin Water, but I'm an active person. I think each variety has around 13 grams of sugars, and each serving (1/2 a bottle) has 50 calories. It's much better for you than soda.

Vitamin water does contain large amounts of sugar as a way of making a 'sweet taste' which is more attractive to people than say normal water.
It may have added vitamins in aswell, however these are vitamins that are produced in Lab's and not half as good as the real vitamins that you find in fresh fruits.
As for cancer, no way! Company's would never sell this type of product if there was any link betwenn Vitamin Water & Cancer.
Buy normal water and add some flavourings into it.

not cancer but drinking to much is bad. pluse those drink are not the best choice to drink a Gatorade has like 300 calories you have to burn those off then if you want to lose weight you have to burn alot more
