I have a Krups KP1010 coffee maker?!

Question:

I have a Krups KP1010 coffee maker?

When I plug it in -- the blue brew light flashes and nothing happens. I tried holding down the button for 10 seconds to no success. There is a full tank of water in the system. Please help!!

Answers:
I have the same coffee pot, and that happened to me... It was calcium build up inside the filter. You can either get a new filter where you purchased the pot, or do what I did, pour white vinegar in the water tank and let stand for about an hour, then the water should come out ok.. But if you do that, be sure to rinse the tank out again by letting clear water run through a whole cycle before you make a pot of coffee, or else you will have vinegar flavored coffee, that would be gross!!!! Good luck, hope I helped...
