Milk Powder shipment to USA for personal use.?

As I'm posted to USA for work, my family is joining me there for 2years. Tthe brand of the formula milk that my kid (21/2yrs) is drinking is not sell in USA. They only have formula upto 24 mths for that brand. Anyone know whether prior approval required from FDA for hand carry the milk powder myself when I arrived at USA.

I do know for sure they are cautious about milk products and powder. you should contact some the customer staff at some international airport in USA. or ask this question on Answers TRAVEL.
