Is it safe to put teabags in a kettle to make a giant cup of tea?!

Question:

Is it safe to put teabags in a kettle to make a giant cup of tea?

Answers:
Sure I do it all the time.

i think you'll be the first one to try that! lol

i did that once and the element of the kettle and the bag of the tea partook in nucleur fusion. I started running when my kitchen was glowing green. And then Boom. Nucleur disaster. I wont say which but its well known.

Are you 8????

I'd think not - you need to have the water boiling before you put tea bags in, and it might damage the element or set fire to your kitchen!

I did it once when I was young and I got in trouble as apparently my dad's coffee tasted like tea for ages afterwards!

Yes there won't be a problem apart form making your kettle look greasy inside.

yes.......tea is not explosive lol

Are you going to drink it out the kettle too or have you got gigantic cups.

It's safe, but it sounds slightly bizarre. What do you mean by safe? The health and safety police aren't going to catch you, but you might find yourself a victim of the taste police.

I'd buy a giant tea pot!!

I think it would be okay, especially if the kettle is dedicated for tea.

dunno but sounds good

I haven't bothered to look at your answers but at least you've made me chuckle today, thanks.
