Espresso drinks?!

Question:

Espresso drinks?

What is a cafe ola'? I'm searching for a good discription of this drink.

Answers:
You probably mean Cafe Au Lait which means coffee with milk. To make it you need a shot of espresso and to that you add equal or more amount of hot milk.

Do you mean Cafe au lait? (pronounced "oh lay") If so, that simply means half espresso, half milk. It's originally a French drink -- a very common one that many people drink over there. It translates literally as "coffee on milk."

Starbucks used to have a cafe au lait, but it was changed to a Cafe Misto. It is half brewed coffee and half steamed milk. No espresso.

Well I beleive you are probably refering to Cafe Au Lait, the coffee served in New Orleans. They brew a mixture of coffee mixed with chicory and mix it as mentioned before with milk.

Cafe Au Lait is made with strong coffee and steamed milk similar to a Latte.
