Question:

Why does Dr Pepper always explode when you first open it but other sodas don't?

It doesn't have any more carbonation than Coke or root beer, etc.

I've had Cokes and such that were accidentally shaken before opening and the amount of fizz was nothing compared to the Dr Pepper.

I don't know, but I always have that problem and it makes me curious too LOL

I don't have that problem

Because Dr. Pepper has more oomph.

you must be getting the ones that are all shaken up. I'm drinking one i just bought and it didnt explode when i opened it.

because it has '23' flavors and that number is so rediculous that it makes it fuckin explode like ahhhahaklfdjdjfdosidfjopsajdfo...

KABOOM!

I dno't know. My friend had one, and I went to take a drink, and it like fizzed up and it got all over my face. I was like what the heck????!!!!

I am a pepper lover too. I have noticed different things about Dr Pepper in different areas of the country. In the midwest where I live it doesn't explode. In Missouri where I used to live it was hard to open and always exploded. In Hawaii it tastes completely different.......strange.

I wouldn't know, I can't stand the taste of Dr. Pepper. Maybe it's a sign you should be drinking something different, like coke or sprite?
