Japaneese green tea ?!

Question:

Japaneese green tea ?

Is it good for boosting metabolism and what is the way to prepare it. I have bought japaneese green tea leaves

Answers:
I drink green tea every night and also have heard that green tea is good for your metabolism. Usually I use the tea bag type ones that I bought from an Asian grocery store, more convenient. But it's not really that hard to brew one from leaves as long as you have a small tea kettle. I use a one person size tea kettle (ceramic) and fill in with 2 pinches of tea leaves, then add boiling water, close the lid and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes until all the leaves sink to the bottom. Then gently pour into the cup.

I don't think that would turn out right! And any way any one would be an idiot to try that out!

I've heard that Japanese Green Tea helps to prevent cancer. I'm not quite sure about boosting your metabolism though.

To prepare Japanese Green Tea with tea leaves you add about a teaspoon of tea leaves to a kettle. Add about 1/2 cup of hot water to it, rinse the leaves in it for a few seconds and throw away this first brew. Then you add another 2 cups of hot water to the rinsed tea leaves in the kettle and let the leaves steep for about 2-3 minutes. Green Tea should be ready.
