Does anyone know a good recipe for a lime virgin Margarita?!

Does anyone know a good recipe for a lime virgin Margarita?

thanks

Answers:
I don't know an actual recipe, but I love margaritas and make them a lot -- how hard can it be to make them virgin? :-)

I use frozen limeade for my regular margaritas (it's cheaper and tastier than the mix) so I think that would work well for the virgin version, too. Don't mix it according to the instructions, though -- you want it stronger than regular limeade.

Here's what I'd do:
1 can of frozen limeade
2 cans of water (the can from the limeade, that is)
juice from 1-2 fresh limes (margaritas should be sour)

You'll also need a splash of something orange-flavored, to replace the triple sec. You could try a shot of orange syrup (like the kind they use in coffee shops) or a few drops of orange flavoring (the concentrated kind from the spice aisle). You could also use fresh orange juice -- maybe half of the limeade can. You don't want too much -- just a hint of orange.

It'll also be more like a real margarita if you blend it, instead of serving it on the rocks. Put it in the blender with plenty of ice, blend til it's slushy, and serve it in a glass with a salt rim.

Good luck!

Hi Sexy, No i don't have one, but if you get a real good one let me know. It sounds heavenly. A Friend.
