no. black tea, white teas (baby green tea leaves) and green tea are all naturally caffinated

the only teas that are not caffinated are herbal teas such as chammomile and mint teas

workign for starbucks for 1 1/2 years ( "tea master" )

I believe just black tea has caffiene. I think that white tea and green tea doesn't have it.

Nope.

It will say Caffeine Free on the tag

Some do, black teas for sure.

No....herbal tea does not.

Most make it a point to say "caffeine free".

All teas made from tea leaves (white, green or black -- the different names are from the way that they process the tea) have caffeine unless they have decaffeinated it. Some herbal teas do not have caffeine. You will know because those without it tout it on the box. Just carefully look at the boxes.

green tea does not have caffeine, read the box

All true tea (coming from the camellia sinensis plant) including black (fully oxidized), oolong (partially oxidized), green (unoxidized), and white (unoxidized tea plant buds) contains caffeine naturally. Like coffee it can be decaffinated but that process still leaves traces of caffeine. Also the amount of caffeine lessens on the black-white scale with white tea containing the least on average.

If you want a 100% caffeine free beverage look for caffeine free herbal "teas" (technically called tisanes) which contain no camellia sinensis and therefore rarely have any caffeine (there are exceptions like mate)

Most tea is caffeinated. And if it's not, it usually says somewhere on the package or label.

All green tea white tea and black tea does and earl grey unless it says decaf on

But rose hip
mint leaves
raspberry leaf
chamomile

Sleepy time

apple Cinnamon

linden flowers

and I make a tea with fresh ginger root grated with honey

I also make a drink from lemon juice and honey or maple syrup

all of these do not have caffeine in them

The caffeine content of a tea bag brewed for five minutes is about 46 to 60 milligrams for a five ounce cup, according to the FDA. Compare that to coffee made from brewed grounds. The caffeine content is about 80 to 115 milligrams for a five ounce cup, depending on the amount of ground coffee added to a five ounce cup of water. So, tea contains about 52 percent of the caffeine found in coffee. If you make two cups from one bag, the total caffeine you get will probably closer to 60 milligrams.

Caffiene, where?

Tea, no, wait where's my Red Bull?

When does Starbucks close...

Hey Mountain Dew is on sale, gotta run.

yes

A Department of Nutritional Services reports the following ranges of caffeine content for a cup of tea made with loose leaves:

A cup of Green tea (6 oz) contains 8 to 36 mg of caffeine.
A cup of White tea contains 6 to 25 mg of caffeine.
A cup of Oolong tea contains 12 to 55 mg of caffeine.
A cup of Black tea ranges from 23 - 110 mg.
Coffee generally contains 60 - 180 mg of caffeine.

Look on the box before purchasing. For example: Celestial Seasons specifies WITH OUT caffine or Contains caffine . . .
