Question:

I can't stick to a diet plan?

on my diet i mostly 'watch' , just watch the cal. intake...but i can't not eat what i like... what can i do that is easy and affective

Answers:
instead of dieting which means something that you will eventually be done with, try instead changing your lifestyle, instead of watching calories watch what you eat and your portions.

weight watchers is the best one to do and easy

When you find an EASY diet....let me know....LMAO

You can eat what you like, just keep the portions down. Don't go pigging out on a whole pizza, just have a slice or two. If you read the food packaging, you'll see what a "portion" is...it might shock you. For example, a small bag of Fritos has TWO "portions" in it. But who eats HALF a bag? See what I mean?

Just by reading the portion size I knocked off 30 pounds without feeling like I deprived myself of anything. That's about the easiest thing I've tried that worked.

Also, avoid white bread, white rice and white crackers. Those Carbs turn to sugar quicker so you have to excercise more to get rid of it. Go with whole grain, pumpernickel or rye bread. Avoid salt too....salt holds 3 times it's own weight in water!

P.S. All Weight Watchers food does is make you pay for something you can do yourself......do your own portioning!

Changing every thing at once can be difficult and going on a diet most people just go off and then gain all the weight and more back

So try to make Sm changes one at a time and watch portion size and get active walking is very good for you and in most places they have walking groups

Once you get OK with the one change that you have made make anotherr and anothe and before you no it you have a healthier life style that you will stick with because it was gradual and you gave yourself time to accept the changes

One of the changes that you can start with is instead of snacking on "bad" foods when you feel like snacking eat free veggies the ones that do not have enough Cal's in them to count but they do have vitamins in them

Lettuce celery mushrooms green pepper 1/2 c

cucumbers radish's carrots have Cal's so stick to 1/3 c

and for a dip they have a fat free sour cream mix onion soup mix with it or use fat free yogurt

Rice cakes are also crunchy and low in Cal's and now come in flavors but watch some of them have sugar in them read the label

There are some good guidelines on this site page-

I've managed for over a year, and it was because I started looking at the process as one of problem-solving,rather than as a specific diet. I knew I needed to eat less and exercise more, so I started thinking about the situations in which this was difficult for me and came up with solutions so that I would be prepared. For example, there are days when I want to eat everything in sight - so I go out for a huge salad, which fills me up, and doesn't exceed my calorie limits. Or when I travel, I make plans for what I will eat beforehand (bringing nutrition bars to eat on planes, for example, rather than grabbing things in strange airports when I'm hungry and don't know what will be available). I found that exercising late at night works better for me than early, because I'm too nervous about getting to work on time in the morning (and it is great for burning off stress before going to bed). Overall, I found that I needed to be kinder to myself. I had been trying for years to stick to someone else's rules. I decided to do it my own way, and it has worked - I've gone from "obese" to "normal weight" according to BMI charts, and I know I can keep it up because keeping it up doesn't mean following one specific plan for the rest of my life.

try eating stuff that you are trying to stay away from in moderation. also try to add a little more workout to your daily schedule.
