I'm guessing you do not watch "Mythbusters".......

You must know if your asking it

lots of fiz, thats all

i did a science experiment on that. i put the tube of mentos in the coke bottle and it shot out. it was really cool. you should only do this outside becuase it makes a huge mess.

go to youtube and look it up. Lots of people playing around with it. Diet coke seems to be the liquid of choice.

fizzy fountain.....just do it outside unless you want a stained ceiling...lol

The videos are mostly real (The one with the British girl blowing up is not).

if you put the mentos in a coke bottle it shoots up really high

if you are not quick enough ..u have to change your tshirt.well....the sugar in the mentos reacts with coke and it foams up.try putting a teaspoon of sugar in a glass of coke and u'll see what i mean.

ummm nothing really except a tiny explosion and in for order something good to really happen you need diet pepsi..I'v had experiances...

Nothing really will happen but if you mix Diet Coke and Mentos it will fizz up

We have done it a couple of times now.
Get a 2 liter bottle of diet coke.. a box of regular mentos...
(do this outside) add the mentoes to the coke and you can get
up to a 12 foot geyser depends on if you put the whole box in or not.. and you really do need diet coke.. off brands don't work as well.. maybe 4 foot geyser.
Its very cool and lots of fun :)

Forget the Mentos..... I say let's try mixing CocaCola and PopRocks !

It burts into the air about 25-30 i tried it works

a big fizz. but you must use diet coke. ordinary will not work

put it in a pop bottle shake it then run for your life it blows up

i saw this on mythbusters... the aspertame and the caffiene in the diet soda react with.. umm.. something in the mentos, but what really gets it going is the textue of the mentos, all those little crates create a place for gas to form and the gas builds up and builds up and WOOOSSSH!!!
