I don't know how to, but these websites may help you. When you look on them websites type in How do you make root beer?

Source(s):
www.google.com
www.ask.com
Hope they help
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Go to www.rootbeer.com/.

Check it out on the web. There are hundreds of recipes for root beer all over the web.

It's basically water, yeast (like baking yeast--you need it so the mixture ferments and bubbles) and root beer syrup. You can sometimes find root beer syrup in grocery stores (mine stock McCormick's brand), but you might have to order it.

Find a recipe, make sure you have proper bottling supplies (clean and good caps, all that--fermenting stuff needs to be bottled properly), and check online for the stuff you can't find in stores. I've seen recipes...though I don't have one on me right now.

It didn't look that hard...but I've never made it, so I could be wrong.

If you're hopeless (not that you will be, but just in case) check online for places that ship root beer.) My favorite is IBC, and I also love A&W (a drive-in restaurant in my area.) Mug and Barq's are pretty good national brands.

But any root beer is better than none! I love that stuff!

take some beer take some roots shove the roots in the beer and tada.....

there are differing recipes so go to www.cooks.com and you will find lots of authentic American recipes there including root beer,funnily enough i was only looking at that page earlier on & telling my girlfriend how they make it!!Weird huh?
