I'd really like to know what happens to my body when I drink a regular soda (with no caffeine.)

In The First 10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system. (100% of your recommended daily intake.) You don’t immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because phosphoric acid cuts the flavor allowing you to keep it down.

It can make you gain weight from all that sugar & Carbs. And diabetes is a probleem with some individuals. n

a little experiment put pop in 2 jars in one put a piece of raw meat in the other put a common nail , put on lids and let set for one week , then check it out , I dont think you will drink anymore pop coke and pepsi are the worst

Stop and consider this: get a coke and pour it into a cup. Drop a rusty penny in it...in a few days, the rust will be eaten off. It will also eat a nail.

I'm guilty of being a pop-a-holic, though. I have cut down (the whole bleeding kidneys thing kinda puts a damper on my zest for fizzy beverages).

You could gain weight. I get the caffeine free, sugar free. I think they are better for me than the ones with the sugar and caffeine. Too much caffeine can make you nuts.

I quit drinking soda pop back in July. I don't know why, I just did and I feel much better. I have tried sips of my kids' root beer and it just doesn't taste good to me anymore. (I was a serious Pepsiaholic!) My headaches have diminished (although not entirely gone.) If you don't drink soda's you are cutting back the amount of sugar intake drastically, and that in turn with either help you lose or maintain your weight (depending on activity,)
