It isn't really a recipe. I put cider in the crock pot and add cinnamon sticks and whole cloves. A bit of spiced rum is a nice addition as well. I know that Watkins (and probably others) sell a spiced cider mix of spices that you can put in a pice of muslin or netting and float in the cider as well. Good luck!

the only one I know
is a hot rum/cider drink.

your slowely heat up a bottle of cider
liquid is a saucepan, pour into a coffee cup
and I tablespoon of brown sugar stir until melted
1 oz of dark rum,and add a touch of ground Cinnamon
and nutmeg,just a pinch,very small amount.
and then put in a Cinnamon stick for stir and flavor.

if it cools re-heat in microwave for 15 seconds

Buy a box of Hot Apple Cider mix at Walmart or other grocery store, then mix with hot water. If you want some alcohol in it, substitute 1/2 the water with wine.
Alternately, heat up some apple juice and add sugar/honey and a stick of cinnamon.

This is my way of making hot cider i put the cider in the crock pot or just boil on the stove. Then i put in cinnamon or cinnamon sticks, then i put in about 4 cloves in and then take a cookie cutter any shape and make shapes with an apple it tastes great!!!

Caramel Apple Cider

1 1/2 cups apple cider
1 1/2 tablespoons caramel sauce or caramels, dip
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Whipped Cream

Combine apple cider, caramel and vanilla into a sauce pan.
Heat over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until apple cider is hot and caramel has melted. Pour into a mug top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel.
