I've had the top fly off, but not hit me in the face like that. Once a bottle of Mountain Dew exploded in my car on a hot day. It was a pretty good air freshener.
The cap has flown off, but not hit me. Once a can of lysol exploded in my car, I took my kids to the grocery store, because I needed a few things, and we went to the pool strait after.
my ex did that... It was funny. he shakes a bottle of soda (partly closed) and flicks the cap and it shoots off to about 10 high... =D
My brother-n-law had a cap fly down his throat. His Dad had to do the Heimlich maneuver.
