Are carbonated drinks with low pH such as coke good for health?!

Question:

Are carbonated drinks with low pH such as coke good for health?

Answers:
Carbonated drinks are unhealthy.

Coke keeps me away from too much rum.

All sodas are bad for your teeth. As are most sports drinks (Gatorade, etc).

Sodas limit the absortion of calcium in the bones, leading to brittle bones, if you already don't consume enough calcium.

Try putting a chicken bone in dish of coke and leave it for a few days. See what happens.
Also, try it with a rusty nail.

Do you think that would be good for the inside of you?

I guess it really is more general rather than vegetarian question, but my answer would be to say that they are neutral.
Look up the pH of your stomach acid. It's lower than that of coke or table vinegar. So I can't see why these beverages would be bad for you because of their pH.

The answer is "no", they are not good for health, but not because of the pH. If they contain phosphates, which many do, you should avoid them. Phosphates will leech the calcium from your body, contributing to osteroperosis.

you said it yourself ..low pH, so its very acidic, and this is very dangerous for your body and digestive track( and I'm only talking about the pH)...
Peeps could say its not dangerous, but one thing for sure, its not good for your health, drink fresh juice that's good for your health.
Of course the stomach pH is one of the lowest like 2 or 1 it depends on the activity.. but still coke or other low pH beverage could affect the stomach, and make ulcers by breaking the equilibrium installed..

no ,definitily

soda is just bad but not b/c of acidity but b/c it affects ather things like calcium absorption. your stomach acid is stronger that cokes and it could clean that rusty nail quicker than coke

no, carbonated beverages are not good for your health
