Answers:
you can make a great cup of coffee, much better then in a coffee maker with just water and a kettle.
you must also have a pot, or a tall glass.
Actually a tall wide glass would be even better.
Start by boiling the water.
into the tall glass put about 1-2 tablespoon medium ground coffee.
pour your hot water directly into the glass.
Let stand about 8 minutes until the ground has settled on the bottom.
Now pour the finished coffee through a fine sieve, or several layers of cheese clothes.
It makes great coffee.
Enjoy!

old fashion way - coffee sock / pocket. otherwise use a small cotton bag, you can make one yourselve. reuseable. use it like you brew tea.

Put coffee in paper towel, fold once. Try it on top of a cup and pour boiling water over it. Good luck.
