Why do the small soda bottles cost more?!

Question:

Why do the small soda bottles cost more?

Why do the small soda bottles cost more than the big 1 liter bottles of soda?

Answers:
They are a convenience item. They are typically bought by people who just want a cold drink of soda and really don't care how much it costs. The bigger bottles are bought by families who are tuned into costs and would not put up with an overpriced product since they can get an alternative anytime at their supermarket.

The volume of soda is never the biggest cost it's packaging and handling plus a premium for convenience

Packaging, convenience, refrigeration to name a few.

Buy in bulk for savings, even on a small scale.

Because people will pay more for them.

My di.ck-ur mama--you

because it costs alot of money to employ people to transfer the soda from the 2 litre bottles to the little ones and then they have to put the caps in place. and pay for all those pesky little plastic or glass bottles as well.
