1886 By Dr. John Pemberton in Atlanta, GA.

The original Coca-Cola recipe was first invented by John S. Pemberton of Atlanta, Georgia in 1885. The modern recipe was from 1903 - when instead of fresh coca leaves spent leaves were used instead.
