In 1907, Samuel Smith started tea deliveries in Newcastle upon Tyne. Deliveries were made by horse and cart to surrounding areas and the business flourished, quickly developing a
reputation for quality and service.

Throughout the company's development, from
son to great grandson, the ranges of high quality teas, delicious biscuits and specially commissioned, collectable ceramics have continued to win the hearts of customers everywhere.

Ringtons is a family business and it is now the 4th generation of the Smith family who own and run it. If you take a look at our history time line, you'll see how Ringtons has grown and evolved into the business we are today.
