Recommend a good coffee?!
Recommend a good coffee?
Can anyone recommend a good coffee that I can make at home (that I can buy in the US)? Right now I'm drinking Folgers 1/2 caffeine and it's ok but it smells like roasted peanuts. Does all decaf taste strange? I only drink the 1/2 caff so I can drink more without feeling all tweaked. I like a medium roast and I'm not a fan of Starbucks, it's too bitter.

Any kind of Sumatran coffee is extremely smooth. I stay away from French Roasts and Starbucks (unless it's Starbucks Sumatra).
You can buy great coffee online from like EBAY, I think the best coffee in the world is grown on the Kona Coast in Hawaii, its very smooth and tastes great So just look for any Coffee that says Kona Coast
hey u asked this before! I told you get Nescafe Decaff and buy that Coffeemate creamer hazelnut...mmmmmm!!!!
Royal Coffee is a good brand and I'll tell ya something else and this si no joke. If you pee in your coffee just a little it will taste damn good;.
Hazelnut coffee rox!
You can get starbucks beans or already ground up ones personally I like my coffee with fresh ground beans gives it a more homey flavor!
I like Seattles Best. Folgers is a very bitter coffee. You can get Seattles best cheaper in Target of Walmart then in grocery stores. So far I would say that is the best in store bought coffee.
Indian Bru,
decaff as a whole doesnt taste quite right to me. As for where to get some, if you have a mall in your area many have a specialty coffee/tea shop and im sure they could help you find a decent tasting coffee that doesnt smell like peanuts
Colombian
Try Starbucks Sumatra. It is a very bold, strong coffee with minimal aftertaste.
Eight o'Clock coffee is my favorite and you can get it at the grocery store.
I love coffee and I like to experiment with different flavors. I always found Folgers to be a bit weak, but Maxwell House Columbian Bold or French Roast are very good and not that expensive. If you want to upgrade a bit, Sam's Club sells a variety of International Coffees. One good coffee is Jamaican Blue Mountain. In some cases you may even want to buy whole bean coffee and a coffee grinder so you can have it as coarse as you like.
I think the best way to find a good coffee is to buy several brands or varieties and try them. If you don't like them you never have to try them again.
Try the Maryland club that you choose the roast.I prefer the stronger taste. The best thing to do when making coffee is to use bottled water, the water can really make the difference.I have never drank any decaff.Just drink what you like and cut back.Enjoy your morning, drink what you like.....
I also enjoy the kona coffee it's not bitter and very smooth. I also think caribou has excellent coffee and there decaf is naturally decaf with no chemicals added. They have a huge variety so your bound to find one that you like. One more that you might like is Lavazza it's true Italian coffee. Too die for!!
