Can to much of a good thing be bad?!

Question:

Can to much of a good thing be bad?

I've drunk 8 energy drinks a day since I was 9, now i'm 17. Last year, I upped my drinking to 10 just for 1 day and had a heart attack. Since then I had to quit drinking 'em all together. Was I right to do so?

Answers:
Too much of ANYTHING is bad for you. Too much Vitamin A or Vitamin C can kill you (granted, you'd have to take an awful lot of either one, but too much is lethal). Heck, too much water can cause hypernatremia, and from what I hear that's a NASTY condition. So don't overdo on anything. P.S.: Energy drinks are not good for you -- too much caffeine and too much high fructose corn syrup, which is the father of all dietary evil. Avoid them like the freakin' plague.

I dont think they had energy drinks like how they do now back then. Get a grip and stop asking stupid questions!

YES!! energy drinks have the amount of caffeine that 4 cups of black coffee would have!!!! that boosts your blood pressure and causes palpitations, and heart attacks! lay off the energy drinks!!!

Yes you were right and smart. Those energy drinks are packed full of sugar and caffiene. That's where the energy comes from.

I think your heart attack says it all. I didn't know energy drinks were good for you at all. Try drinking more water it a natural energizer!

duh

yes do you want to have another heart attack?

yes

You had a heart attack at 16?Yes you were doing something wrong then and quitting was a very wise choice. After the heart attack you are on a lot of meds that probably doesn't allow for the excess of caffeine and protein in those drinks.Hope your health improves, you should try to get the word out to others about those drinks, call Montel Show and see what they say...
