I know I could add it little by little until I got a good taste. I was just wondering if anyone knew the exact amount that makes it taste like the genuine article.

If you use immitation vanilla.....1/2 tsp. is plenty in an 8 oz. glass of coke to get the taste you are looking for. My kids drink it all the time!!!

Spend the money and get some real vanilla. Add a tiny bit to your coke and taste, if you need more, keep adding it a tiny bit at a time until you figure out how much is enough.
If you use the cheap vanilla, do it the same way, add a bit as you go and continually taste until it taste the way YOU want it to taste. Not Rocket Science.

try adding 2-3 spoons of vanilla ice cream and maybe 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla into coke....

Here's another suggestion: go to the store and purchase a bottle of vanilla syrup (it's what they use at Waffle House, etc.) and add it to taste. Little more expensive than the vanilla extract, but also more consistent results.

get regular coke, and put imitation vanilla in it, and a little sugar, and... there ya go!! a vanilla coke!!

I drink Diet Coke, and I add a few drops of real vanilla extract (the kind you use to bake) and it's pretty good.
