Do energy drinks like Red Bull still work if you drink them every day?!

Question:

Do energy drinks like Red Bull still work if you drink them every day?

I am a new Red Bull drinker - I feel great after drinking one. But if I start doing one every day, does the body acclimate and the effect go away?

Answers:
Yes and no. As far as the physical effects of Taurine I have no knowledge, but Taurine is only really of impact in the brain.
Caffiene however, the chief stimulant in Red Bull (aside from sugars) does create physical dependence and tolerance. So yes, if you drink Red Bull daily, you can build up tolerance to the caffiene.

Caffiene in Red Bull is only at 80mg per can, so if you normally drink far more coffee and soda, and it still works, its not an issue.

In any case, the sugars should still work as a quick wake up, you wont simply "get used" to Red Bull, at least not physically.

I think it may be bad for ur body and keep u up at night but who know ur body may get worn out from it and make u feel horrible

no they only jest you addicted,

I've found the effect goes away. The only reason I still drink RockStar so damn much is that I'm freakin addicted.

they do more harm than damage in the long run, all that caffeine is not good for your body, especially a younger body, and yes your body acclimates

you get so used to them they do not have such a great effect

but if you get off them you will go back to normal

this happens because the taurine level in your body gets so high the red bull does not add any more

Yes, your body will build up a tolerance. You should also be aware of health problems that have been associated with heavy use of the drink.

We all develop tolerance so the effect lessens day-to-day. Coffee's better for you anyway.

I am not certain but I would think that like coffee or any other caffinated beverage you would feel the effects of it and after awhile of using it your body would acclimate to that dosage of caffiene and it would take more to make you feel really "energentic" but without atleast the one dosage you may notice you feel drawn out or tired as this is the way a caffiene addiction works.

Eventually your body builds up tolerance and resistance to them and they do less and less until they do nothing.

Energy drinks dont work, period. Its just lots of sugar and funny stuff in a can. I guess i understand if it gives u a bit of a high, coz its so sugary. But it isnt good for you.. its got that bubbly stuff in it and there are bad side effects of drinking it, like diarohea., most serious cases there have been deaths (im not kidding).

"The energy drink Red Bull is under investigation in Sweden after reports at least three people died after drinking it.
The Swedish National Food Administration (NFA) is heading the investigation, and has issued a public warning, telling people not to take Red Bull mixed with alcohol, or after heavy exercise.

The three healthy young people who died are all thought to have drunk Red Bull shortly before their deaths. "

Be afraid, be very afraid... after all, i am ,...

It depends on you system. For me, I can drink 10 or more energy drinkes every day, and nothing happens. Usually, it should wear off the next day, but like i said, it depends on your system.
