CAn bottled water go bad???!

Question:

CAn bottled water go bad???

Answers:
Yes, eventuially the material it is contained in will let air and odors through, which will mix with the water, creating a nice taste which you won't like to drink at all. The water itself won't go bad per se, but it will pick up the smells and odors and it will start tasting bad.

YES

Um, hey. How does water go bad? *coughcoughitdoesntcoughcough*

Tap water better in my city

Bottled water can not go bad unless its been somewhere 4 like 30 years or so........

If sealed still should be good for a LONG TIME

dont know , stick to the guinness.

The only time the bottled water will go bad is when you leave it open for a while and don't put the top on it.

Some bottled water has code dates.

When you say "go bad", do u mean expire or there's something bad in it ??

If you mean 'expire', well yes it does eventually, when u buy water it should have an expiry date on the bottle, its usually 2-3 years after you buy the water , so u can leave it there for a year and it will still be fine ..... but you know everything expires, except maybe stuff like rice.?

Actually tap water is better than bottled, coz theres more fluoride in it which helps your teeth from decaying and stuff. And its cheaper than bottled water so its good news all round. Just boil the tap water in a kettle and drink it, it can even taste better than bottled water.... to me theres no difference, its just water ...

Yes, especially if it is in plastic bottles. The plastic absorbed the odors and permeates through to taint the water. Especially petrol(gasoline).

It may pick up some of the plastic taste after a few years. I usually keep about 2 cases and keep using and replacing to keep the emergency supply fairly new.

Over time, particularly with sun exposure the bottles will begin to degrade leeching chemicals into the water.

They are designed this way so that in theory they will break down eventually in the environment.
