Why is pepsi less carbonated than coca-cola?!
Why is pepsi less carbonated than coca-cola?
pepsi really is a bad choice for mixing with spirits because it goes flat very quickly, but why?
Answers:
Indeed, Pepsi is less carbonated than Coca-Cola and it's for a good reason. Some people prefer less carbonation. In the early 1980s when Pepsi did the nationwide taste test and people chose Pepsi over Coke for its sweeter and lighter carbonation. In fact the Coca-Cola Company reformulated Coke to be exactly that and launched New Coke on April 23, 1985. However it was not the taste but the brand and the idea of the original Coke that people wanted so the Coca-Cola Company brought back the original formula and rebranded it as Coke Classic.
Some people prefer Diet Coke over Coke because of the carbonation and the smoother taste not merely because it's sugar-free and calorie-free.
In fact, Coca-Cola has introduced more products with less carbonation, e.g. Coca-Cola Blak which has very little carbonation, Coke C2, also with less carbonation, and all the different flavors of Diet Coke.

its why i prefer pepsi actually
i have recently did an experiment and coke cola cleans a brass coin better than pepsi, showing coke is more acidic and worse for your teeth
but to your answer, its just how much co2 pepsico put in, company choice
I actually prefer Pepsi and Pepsi products over Coca-Cola products ANY day. As for less carbonated, you can try one of those mini-cans of Pepsi, and you will belch your head off! :-)
