Too much milk?!

Question:

Too much milk?

I drink about 32 fl oz (4 cups) a day. I drink it throughout the day, not at one time. Is this too much milk?

Answers:
no i don't think so the recomended amount is 3 cups a day, ur probely going to be really healthy!!!

nah, as long as you take vitamin C as well.

no my ol man can drink a gallon on his own.

You should try to add some variety in your diet, but don't worry about the milk being too much for you.

you could maybe cut down to 3 b/c the food pyramid says 2-3 servings and then you have to think about all the other dairy products you eat a day

Humans don't need milk after breastfeeding. Its a cultural thing. You consume calcium through other methods, meat, leafy greens, broccoli, etc.

It should be OK but you may find that mucous production in your throat can be stimulated. You could need to clear your throat a lot, because milk consumption causes phlegm.

No. You like milk. It's a healthy drink. Remember to get plenty of water too though. Good for your bones and skin. Why not?

no, that's how much I drink and I'm in good health! :]

I'd limit it to three cups a day if I were you. The pyramid says 2-3 and it knows what it's talking about.

is it at least 1%? Other wise, whole milk can add unwanted lbs.

If you can handle the milk, meaning that you don't get gas, diarrhea, cramps, etc..., I don't see why not.

But remember...whole milk is high in fat and cholesterol so since you love it so much, drink lowfat or fat free if you don't already

no, it's better than drinking too much soda. i prefer milk over soda. it's better for your bones and teeth

that is fine if it is 2%

no thats good
