Silvery Teaspoon Stains In Coffee Mugs.?!

Question:

Silvery Teaspoon Stains In Coffee Mugs.?

A friend of mine recently showed me a way to clean up mugs stained with coffee and tea, i.e. by filling them up with diluted bleach. Unfortunately, with those staiins cleaned away, they revealed some ugly silvery marks caused by teaspoon stirring. Anyone know of a way of getting rid of them?

Answers:
Rub off with a paste made from a fine cleanser or a little silver polish. Either one will also work on coffee and tea stains.

try vinegar

try the tablets that they use to clean dentures e.g steradent

try bicarbonate of soda. you can clean tea stains out with it too. just put a bit on a damp cloth or old toothbrush. you can get it in the supermarket with the cake ingredients

Try Cif or a cream cleaner and rub them off gently

Salt is the best way to clean them.
