maybe your stomach can't handle coffee.... i can also drink everything i want, but coffee makes me feel really sick. coffee is a "roasted" (i say BURNT) bean that is ground up and strained.... you stomach probably just doesnt like it.

Im not sure, that happens to me too once and a while...it could be a combining of the coffe beans and the caffeine, which tends to make you fidgety and nervous, which could cause stomach aches.
Also, if you dont have coffee that often, it takes time to get used to if you have alot at one time.

The caffine in the coffe bean acids, cause bad stomach reactions, hurts your throat, and makes you go to the bathroom.

The strong amounts of caffeine upsets you stomach. You might have a stomach ulcer. I would get that checked out.

cause you are a wuss. don't drink it

I have the same problem with coffee causing me heartburn. My doctor said that coffee, alcohol and cigarettes are the primary causes of heartburn. She told me that decaf is fine and I haven't had a problem since I switched. I have NEVER had a problem with any other caffeinated beverage. Maybe the coffee has a more concentrated caffeine or maybe it is more acidic and the combo causes a disruption. Your guess is as good as mine, but I do sympathize. I also had the problems of nervousness and heart palpitations. Decaf has made my life much better.

Coffee contains a great deal of acid. This acid, reacting with the acid that is naturally present in the stomach causes some people to experience "tummy discomfort".

Too much tannic acid, which creates too much stomach acid (heartburn, acid reflux) and irritates your intestinal lining. Tea has it too, but not as much. Soda has none. Try drinking your coffee weaker or with some milk, or maybe just stop for a while, and check with your doctor. It's possible to develop an ulcer if you're not careful.

Good luck - feel better!

caffeine! try not to drink it on an empty stomach.i have a yogurt first.or fruit.
good luck.

May I make a suggestion to you.My Mother for years Drank her coffee with lots of cream and sugar.I have never drank but sugar 1/2 teaspoon per mug. When she became ill I tried giving her plain coffee with sugar 2 teaspoons only. She never complained of a tummy ache from then on.She suffered from diverticulitis and found out after years of thinking only coffee effected her that way.I think it was the combination that causes a gas build up and therefore the tummy ache....
