Personally, I prefer Folgers. To me, Folgers actually tastes like coffee, whereas Starbucks tastes like disgusting watered-down overpriced garbage. My dad drinks Starbucks and I can't stand it, I keep telling him he needs to be a real man and switch to Folgers Classic Roast.

Folgers for me -- preferably the French roast. Starbuck's coffee always tastes burnt to me, and it upsets my stomach.

Folgers has a very nice Columbian roast. Starbucks can sometimes taste like burnt rubber.

My friend, you are missing out..! give starbucks another chance...! well, coffee is a mystery and iyour satisfaction depends completely on how you solve it. try the kenyan blend, it is bold and strong...not burnt...
How long have you tried Starbucks compare to folgers, maybe your palate is use to the other taste. just a thought

I make a strong cup, 1 TBLs Dark Chocolate Powder, 2 TBLs Rich Creamer. Nothing beats it!

It's all a matter of personal taste and preferences.
I like Starbucks latte grande with skim milk and Dulce ff syrup, for me its a treat because it's expensive.
I also love Duncan donuts too.
I drink Folgers Classic Roast. I can afford it and it does the trick. I can get it in my own kitchen and dont have to get dressed or put on shoes to go get it. I dont have to stand in line and I drink it out of a real coffee mug, not a cardboard one. If I go to Starbucks, I feel like I HAVE to get a foo-foo drink because I am there and it smells so good and there are so many options. The foo-foo is fat, and I really could go without the extra fat.

I like them both, I actually drink both brands, breakfast blend in starbucks and folgers, try grinding your own beans, it makes a difference...maybe try a diff flavor of starbucks, or diff types, they really do make good coffee/drinks!
What's great about Folgers is that the taste is consistent. At Starbucks, the quality depends upon who's making your drink. If the barista doesn't steam the milk properly or maintain the espresso machine -- you could come out with a nasty tasting latte.
But IF everything is as it should be... then Starbucks is wonderful. If you think that the coffee is watered down then try a stronger and bolder tasting coffee like French Roast, Sumatra or Kenya.
I rarely drink coffee, but for hot coffee, I'd drink Folgers & cold, I'd drink Starbucks.
