Substitute for vodka?!

Substitute for vodka?

some friends and i are planning on making mocktails, but i have yet to come up with a good substitute for vodka. any suggestions?

sorry, should have explained better- we are taking alcoholic recipes and modifying them. the problem is, in some cases vodka is the only liquid in the drink.

Vodka is the alcoholic component to cocktails. Mocktails wouldn't use it. Go ahead and use your favorite recipe without the booze. You'll get the same flavor but no kick, which is what "mocktail" desires to do, right?

Youn usually cannot taste Vodka in the drinks anyway so why even bother. But if you want ot give it a taste like it actually has liquor in it then add a splash of "Bartenders Whisky Sour" that will do the trick.

You can use a flavored still water as a replacement...such as fruit20 or propel fitness water. It will add a little flavor too. Fruit 2 0 comes in many flavors--and the best is they are sugar free!

try sprite or sparkling water.
