What would a small coffee funnell be used for??!

Question:

What would a small coffee funnell be used for??

Answers:
its used for filter coffee. havent seen one since 1989, but what happens is that filter paper ( thin, circular discs) lines the funnel, after which coffee grounds are poured in, and boiling water is poured through this rudimentary filter.
If you're looking for alternate uses, you can use them as:

1) Egg separators : the white slides out through the other end, if you dont break the yolk

2)String dispensers : to prevent string from tangling when you use it for sewing.

Funneling small coffees. Without seeing it we can only guess. My guess is that it might be for a one cup drip coffee job. You put the cup under the filter and pour water over the coffee grounds into the filter.

If you're talking about the fabric type coffee funnels (i think they look like butterfly nets), you can use them to brew loose tea. You can put the leaves in the funnel and slowly add water. You can use them as a cheese cloth (or instead of a cheese cloth).

That's the only coffee funnel I know of.
