How much milk should a guy (of 16) have? and how much is too much?!

Question:

How much milk should a guy (of 16) have? and how much is too much?

Hi there, right I'm Andrew, 16, 11st 2pnd and living in the UK. This question has been bugging me plus its just for general information on how my body is reacting (if that doesn't sound too complicated)
So, how much is the recommended daily take of milk per day, and how much milk is 'dangerous'
Right, a little more about me, i drink between 6-7 glasses of 'ASDA British Fresh Whole Milk' per day (4 - 5 pints i think - not too sure through) Is this enough or is it too much??
Kind regards, Andrew.

Answers:
Drink as much as you want as long as you don't get adverse effects (diarrhea etc.) If you are not lactose intolerant it should not matter. Of course you want a balanced diet so you may want to include other healthy thing to fill your body with. You do know WATER is very important for you whole life
Have a good future.

Anything taken immoderately is probably going to end up being bad for you.
An unlimited intake of water even will bring about an undesirable effect.
During my teens I used to consume up to a gallon (8 pints) of full cream milk a day - a pint at a time through the day.
I'm now approaching 70 and still like alot of milk, but drink alot more coffee and fruit drinks these days, so that I have perhaps half a pint of milk a day, most days.
But there is nothing wrong with me that can be attributed to a high intake of milk earlier in life.
Remember, milk is a food, so don't overindulge; take excercise, and watch your weight.
