What is the law on drinking na beer while driving a car?!

Question:

What is the law on drinking na beer while driving a car?

Answers:
Same as root beer or any other non-alcoholic beverage.

It's still got alcohol in it. Like, half a percent. Just don't do it, trust me, you'll be in for a world of hurt if a cop smells something even LIKE real beer.

The real question is, "why bother?"

As a bartender, I know that n/a was treated the same as beer in my state. I could not sell it to people who were under 21. This was despite the fact that the orange juice we gave to two-years-olds had a higher alcohol content. I can only assume that it would be treated the same if you were driving.

Blame MADD and their over-zealous attack on anything with any alcohol in it at all.

I've actually done that before!
We just thought it would be funny if we were pulled over.

Technically, though, its probably illegal.

When driving you should concentrate on driving, not drinking, even if its plain water. Anyone irresponsible enough to not be fully concentrated on driving because they are busy drinking something should be pulled over. Accidents happen in seconds and due to not paying attention to what you are doing.
