What's the difference between Coca-Cola(Coke) and Pepsi?!

Question:

What's the difference between Coca-Cola(Coke) and Pepsi?

Are they the same with just different brand names or are they different in the ingredients?

Answers:
We are Coke fans. There really is a difference-Pepsi has a wimpy taste. I tried it
once and threw it out. My husband would be very sick if he drank it. I can't figure
out all the hype about Pepsi. : }

Taste! Pepsi rules!

All you have to do it taste them. Different taste, ingredients, they're completely different.

I think Pepsi tastes sweeter but I prefer Coke

The name, ingredients and taste are different.

Coca cola is gay, whereas pepsi is lesbian.

Not sure but Coke is better!

UMM... THE CAFFEINE.
AND SUGAR.
YEAH, JUST DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS.

they have quite different tastes, try them and see for yourself. they are also distributed by different companies, similar ingredients but if you check the labels you will see that there are differences

different ingredients...makes them both taste like chit....thanks for asking...good luck

I think pepsi is a little sweeter
coke is more acity and bubbly
I think that is about the only difference, I have not had a soda in ages. Now when ever I have one they all taste the same to me.

Coke used to have cocaine in it. Now it only has an extract of coca leaves to add flavor, but no "active ingredient" besides caffeine.

Coke tastes better. Pepsi used to taste better, but they keep monkeying with the ingredients and now it tastes like a weak RC knockoff.

Which is also better than Pepsi.

Normally no more than a nickel.

COKE ZERO IS THE BEST!!!!

Besides that tastes.

Taste they same for me.

ummm.......coke was invented first and i think it tastes better too!

Pepsi tast sweeter. if i had to choose, coca cola.
different ingredients.
you can clean with either.

Pepsi is sweeter, has slightly more caffeine while Coke is more acidic and more carbonated

coca cola is great for cooking. take a pot roast sprinkle with lipton onion soup mix, add a can of coke and roast as usual. baste the meat occasionally. the drippings make a great gravy!!! go to the coca cola website for recipes using coke.

They have different ingredients and Pepsi is a LOT sweeter.

They are very similar.
There is a slight difference between the both, that you're going to have to see for yourself. Everybody can usually taste a different difference.
But the main reason, I think, is that they are two different companies, both with nearly identical ingredient, trying to win everyone over using commercials, billboards, design of cups, etc.

...not much but one uses "corn syrup" as a sweetener and the other "sugar"... and they both "fine" tune their cola recipes to make "you" have a favorite...

Coke is better

the difference is the taste...other than the taste ingredients they are basically the same ...the taste ingredients are in syrup form ....the composition of which is a closely held corporate secret....

pepsi tastes great! coca cola just has more tradtion to it i think...............

One is sweeter! Like duh!

you need to drink some Doctor Pepper lady
somethings wrong with you.

Pepsi uses more sugar than coke

i think maybe they have the same ingredients just differnt in quantities

Pepsi taste sweeter, Coke is more bitter.

they are different due to name as well as recipe.

read the label

maybe you will not drink either after you do.

nothing but caramelized , artificially colored and flavored crap.

not the best choice for a beverage esp for growing kids and teens.

you need more nutritional beverages to support healthy teeth as well as a good nutrient return on your calories consumed.

labels list ingredients from most present to least present.

chances are it will say water, sugar is some form which is any compound ending is ose.

hope this helps.
