Question:

Whats the best way to make a cup of tea?

I think t-bag in mug then hot water then take out bag add milk then 2 sugers. what do u think?

Answers:
I think there is no good way to make yourself a cup of tea. Get the wife to do it!! But if i'm forced to do it T-bag, sugar hot water then milk and stir then remove bag

I would leave the sugar out personally. But that is just my choice.

It is better with tea-bags

It varies on each person taste, personally I perfer to use honey instead of sugar if i can, or sometimes i will drink it plain and a dash of milk (again i personally don't like too much milk in my tea) and take out the bag.

I put milk in first

teapots are the way forward for you my friend

fresh water boiled, punjana tea bag in cup, pour half water half milk, take out the tea bag, no sugar.. enjoy

if you're drinking black tea from a bag then who cares? It'll be a blended tea so that it has the blandest and therefore least offensive taste to those who have no idea about tea (or taste in general) so it can sell more in cultures where food is a processed commodity. Then you'll be adding milk and sugar anyway, so what's the point? It's the equivalent of drinking the backcatalogue of Westlife and Backstreet Boyz played through a broken speaker stuck on repeat. Ugh.

A tea pot, some leaves - preferably green - and no milk or sugar.

I think the best way of making a cup of tea, is to have my husband do it for me ;-)

seriously though, if he's not here, I brew up by putting the bag in a mug (bone china of course) pouring boiling water, stirring it up, removing bag, and putting in milk. I don't take sugar, but if I did, I think I'd add it before the milk.

Just had PG tips for the first time - usually have Tetleys. Haven't tried really cheap stuff! I can't stand cheap coffee. YUK! ;-P

Teabag in a porcelian cup, then water, then nuke to almost boiling. I don't take milk in my tea, but 1 sugar or a teaspoon of honey, sometimes. I think tea is much better in either a porcelian or bone china cup than in a ceramic mug.
Sometimes, I drink loose tea by using a tea ball. I find that if I want to vary the strength, loose tea is the way to go.

it depends on taste. i like to put my sugar in with the bag, leave it to brew for 5 minutes, then add the milk. i never squeeze the bag: my dad used to do that and it made the tea taste of recylcled paper.

Milk and bag together or you can't judge the colour very well.

My grandmother tought me her method for ceylon type tea:
Boil the kettle with fresh water.
Have the tea/teabag in a teapot, fill with boiled water, and steep for about three minutes.
In the meantime, fill your cup with some of the boiled water so that it is nice and hot.
While steeping..get your biscuit, cake or whatever ready.
After steeping..
If you like milk in your tea, remove the hot water, put a little milk in the bottom - to your preferance.
Then fill with tea.
Sit back, relax and enjoy your cuppa!

using your hands to concoct it,

My favorite is chamomile tea it sooths & really doesn't need cream or lumps, and it smells so good.
I also like half ice tea & half cranapple juice(yum yum).

I think tea leaves work better for a cup of tea. You don't need a teapot just 2 cups one for brewing the tea and the other for pouring the brewed tea in by filtering it through a coffee filter either a paper or permanent one. It is not hard at all and can be very fun. I think you will enjoy the flavor of what ever tea you choice better by using leaf tea. If you have a tea pot use it but, if not, try this way. I sell tea and sample all my own tea
