Are there maple syrup makers in sudbury ontario?

this will be my first year doing this. i understand that you just drill a hole in the tree, stick in the spout, catch it in a bucket and boil it until you get a thick golden brown syrup

There might be places around Sudbury, my mother was born and raised the and they had relatives bring real maple syrup down when visiting, , more likely around North Bay or south, near Ottawa, you need the days to be above 0 and nights below buy not to far. the warming of the weather allows the sap to run and then it can be boiled into syrup, but you need 10 gallons of sap for 1/2 gallon of syrup, so do not be tapping the trees in your backyard or the rest of the street or neighbourhood, buckshot and rock salt stings when fired from a shot gun???
