How much loose leaf tea shoud I use to make a cup of tea?
Answers:
Usually its 1 teaspoon per cup, with bulkier teas I'd recommend trying two.
Of course this is all to your taste, there are no strict rules to tea. Try experimenting until you find what is just right to you.
Little less than one teaspoon.
That depends on you how strong you want.A cup of tea maybe 1 ounze. For Japanese green tea the temp of water should somehwat warm but not boiling warm & your whitecup ahould turn green not brownish.
a loose or tight teaspoon...depending on ur taste....
Depends on the type of tea, how fine it's ground, and the strength you want. Here's a general guide:
Herbal = 1.5 tsp (steep for 5-6 minutes at 208 degrees)
Green = 1 tsp (1-2 min at 175)
White = 1.5 tsp (4-5 min at 175)
Black = 1 tsp (3-4 min at 195)
Red/Rooibos = 1.5 tsp (5-6 min at 208)
Mate = 1.5 tsp (5-6 min at 208)
Oolong = 1 tsp (3-4 min at 195)
depends but you can refer to the guide from teacuppa
