Question:

How popular are energy drinks?

Answers:
energy drinks work to a point depending on how many u drink, but as for ur ?ion the really f ing popular almost as bad as soda pop thats about how popular, and if it werent for the price i think they would out sell coke, and pepsi products both

I personally am not a fan of energy drinks. But I hear Red Bull is very popular.

i love them they give u the biggest enery/sugar rush
they arnt good for u though

Like I told several other people in answers to other questions- a lot of these energy drinks are NOT based on sugar- they contain electrolytes and salt like substances that actually reduce the regular process of Osmosis (the absorption of WATER through your body's cell walls!). They may help you feel more energetic by reducing bloating! However, if you run frequently and do cardiovascular related exercises, I would recommend regular water and drinks that contain POTASSIUM (like in Bananas)!! Potassium is prescribed for people with water retention and absorption problems (like water pills- Potassium Chloride!!!). I think these people got it backwards when they decided to promote these drinks for athletes who do cardiovascular exercises and marathons, and I even believe that several people involved in marathons have even collapsed and fainted as a result of this crucial error! Remember two things- Potassium and Sodium (like found in salts), are two very important elements involved in various chemical reactions in your body involving Osmosis and other biological reactions, especially involving water retention and absorption!

Maybe coz it's refreshing and makes the consumer more active?

energy drinks is popular enough, until 50 cent brings in cash on them, and ice T is a c.e.o of one as well, so that's how important it is, where advertisemtns is concerns, as for the body, truthfully, some of them do make you get a burst of energy, and then after a while, you feel sluggish, well red bull that is, dont know about the others, that's my experience
