How to beat caffeine withdrawals?!

Question:

How to beat caffeine withdrawals?

Answers:
Lots and lots of water. If your not adverse to pils, some type of pain reliever because you will get the head ache of the year. Also, I drank a lot of healthy drinks, like fresh squeezed juice, no pop or anything. And to be perfectly honest, a nice glass of wine or cold beer works MIRACLES. But not if your young or don't drink :-)

do other things! It's a three-day hump and after that you won't crave caffeine!

Cut down slowly. If you do it all at once you will have horrible headaches. If you do it slowly you will be ok.

A LOT of water. Drink at least half your body weight in ounces; so if you weigh 100 lbs you will want to drink 50 ounces of water. Most bottled water is sold in 9 ounces, so drink 5 or 6 of those a day at least.

time

Firstly, GO slowly! Cut down your consumption slowly...and then remember it doesn't take very long. If you develop a headache, have a cup fo tea, for instance. Don't go cold turkey, it sucks. It took me about 2 weeks to decaf myself!

But there is good news for those wishing to quit caffeine: A simple, stepwise approach can often eliminate the need for a "fix" without suffering the most severe withdrawal symptoms.

"We teach a systematic method of gradually reducing caffeine consumption over time by substituting decaffeinated or non-caffeinated products. Using such a method allows people to reduce or eliminate withdrawal symptoms," says Griffiths.
