My Coke Rewards?!

Question:

My Coke Rewards?

Is this for real?

I signed up on http://www.mycokerewards.com and entered a code that I got from a Diet Coke bottle. I chose a poster.

Is it free? I don't want a big charge when I finally get it

Answers:
I'm downright cheap. I collected 150+ points from discarded bottles and a 12 pack. (My church hosts homeless one week a year through a county non-profit program and they served many two liters of Coke and Diet Coke and I collected the bottles from the recycle bag. The youth at church collect deposit bottles [I live in Michigan; Deposit is a dime] for fundraising. I dug through the box and collected those lids. I also got a few lids from the church volleyball tournament, as well as the code from the 12 pack. I found one in the grocery store parking lot. I also found some free points from Coke on a couple of freebies boards I frequent.)

Coke did not receive one penny from me, yet I collected enough points for both a "Redbook" subscription and "Good Housekeeping" subscription. I've yet to receive a charge. With the exception of buying the soda (if you do), there is no charge.

The only thing that's for sure is that you just gave some of your personal information to a large corporation for free, which is profitable for them.

Did you read the regulaments? I bet they explain everything there.
