excellent. i'll try both stevia and agave...or whatever it was called. blood sugar is one thing i i would like to improve. good for the teeth too. i'm cutting out soda so i'm looking for alternatives that can satisfy that habit. it's been easier than expected...and i drink coffee black anyway so i'm not going through caffeine withdrawal. :)

Yup, just remember to use tiny amounts of stevia at a time, if you use too much at once it will taste like ***.

Make sure you get good stevia too, the powder I thin is best. If it tastes bitter then the company isn't doing it right. Ask the people at the health food store which ones aren't bitter, they should be able to tell you(the bitterness is a type of alcohol I think).

Oh and if you get good quality looseleaf teas from a good teashop you won't have bitter tea, so it may not need to be sweet. Teabags usually have terrible quality tea in it which is made for superfast infusions.

Hope this helps.

Yes.

Stevia has an odd taste to some.

Another low glycemic sweetener that has great flavor is Agave.

This is the same cactus that brings us Tequila.

There is no alcohol in it so it is safe for all.

Great in ice tea, lemonade , hot drinks, cereal etc.

Not cheap but good for those with carbohydrate and blood sugar concerns.
