Is ginger ale considered soda?!

Question:

Is ginger ale considered soda?

Answers:
ANY carbonated beverage is a soda.

Yup. It usually has a little less sugar than normal soda though.

yes

Yes it is. It is ginger flavored soda.

Sure. Even unflavored carbonated water is soda water.

I think the rule is that the gas must be added and not natural; otherwise, beer and champagne would be soda.

yea i do

an ale made of ginger

yes because its carbonated but it has nothing in it with ginger!!

just like food, beverages can be broken down into a pyrimid of sorts. At the top it is beverages as a whole, the next catagories are soft drinks (anything without acohol) and hard drinks (with acohol) and it goes from there. Both soft and hard drinks can be still or carbinated, hot or cold, spicy, savory or sweet.
In most cultures soft drinks that are carbinated are called soda, pop, cola, sodapop, or even just soft drinks.

Yes! It is still a carbonated drink.
