Just Curious but would drinking kool-aid be good enough to keep your body/skin hydrated or do you have to drink water with nothing else in it..

Right but if i didn't put alot of sugar in it .. that and doesn't the body abstract the sugar from the water once it's in it? im not worried about weight gain because i play hockey , but im more or less asking for keeping hydrated..

Well the 'experts' used to recommend 8 glasses of water a day, but now they are saying that it doesn't have to be plain water and can have flavouring in it like Kool-Aid or Crystal Light. That's why there's such a big influx of those single-dose Kool-Aid/Crystal Light/Nestea things lately. They've seen the market for it and jumped on it.

i think it would. a lot of time doctors will recommend giving koolaid to children because they dont really wanna drink water, so i would think the same thing goes for you.

you would have to drink water, because kool aid is full of sugar!!!

kool-aid means lots of sugar

plain old water means no sugar

stay with the water - you will be better off

lmao i love this question! yeah you can drink koolaid to keep hydrated ;) but i wouldnt drink it too much because it has a lot of sugar in it.

i used to hate water and the only thing i would drink was pop, koolaid, and juice and i never got dehydrated im sure your fine

Although drinking water is over-all the best for body and skin hydration. Drinking any liquid will keep you hydrated - just not always good for your body/skin.

However if you do not like the taste of water alone - try alternatives like Gatorade, propel, green teas, sport drinks, or the flavoured waters available. Eating anything that has antioxidant value will also be good choices.

kool aid would be okay but water is better
